 VitaTab™ Chewable multivitamin and mineral supplement is the best choice for ensuring essential micronutrient needs in the first weeks following surgery, as patients may be unable to swallow regular tablets or capsules until after their initial healing occurs. These chewable tablets provide ready-to-absorb forms of nutrients and higher amounts that standard children's or adult chewable vitamins lack. After weight loss surgery, patients have unique lifetime nutritional needs as a result of altering the gastrointestinal system. VitaTab™ Chewable tablets supply vitamins and minerals that can no longer be readily absorbed from food alone in the amounts needed for optimum health. Well-tolerated, highly bioavailable nutrient forms are supplied in a naturally-flavored wafer that can be used safely throughout the patient's life.
Suggested Use: Chew 2 tablets, twice daily with meals.
